William “Bill the Barber” T. Charnock II, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Monday, September 11, 2017 at age 82. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Hazel Charnock, many knew the Marine Corps Veteran for his local barbershop where he loved to pass the hours cutting hair, telling jokes, and chatting about the Steelers. He was a devout Catholic and is already dearly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Ann B. Charnock and son William T. Charnock III, he will be laid to rest by their side. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to William and Hazel Charnock, many knew the Marine Corps Veteran for his local barbershop where he loved to pass the hours cutting hair, telling jokes, and chatting about the Steelers. He was a devout Catholic and is already dearly missed by his family and friends. Predeceased by his wife Ann B. Charnock and son William T. Charnock III, he will be laid to rest by their side. He is survived by his Sweetheart Kim Schadt and their dog Muffin; his three daughters: Marlene Caponi, Michelle Mazzotta, and Diane Justice; eight grandchildren: Nicholas Caponi, Michael Caponi, Michelle Fusco, Robert Caponi, Joseph Mazzotta, Justin Mazzotta, Joseph Justice and December Moneyhan; and five great-grandchildren: Carmine Caponi, Gabriella Caponi, Charlotte Caponi, Juliette Justice, and Mark Justice. Most who knew him simply knew him as “Pap.” Visitation is scheduled for 5-8 p.m. on Monday, September 18th at Turner Funeral Home in Spring Hill. The funeral service will be held at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19th located at 5030 Mariner Blvd. Spring Hill, Florida 34609. Burial procession will follow to Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill, Florida with military honors.
