Edith Zapke, age 92, died Thursday, August3, 2017 in Roscoe, Illinois. Edith was born March 15th in New York. She was married to Edward Zapke for 50 years. Edith worked for F.W. Woolworth Co. downtown, New York. She was a director of personnel for the New York City area. She loved to play the organ and garden. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she was an Elder. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Zapke, granddaughter Kristin Manley Smyrna, 3 brothers Warren, Norman, Arther Bellion, 2 step sisters, Mabel Nutley...

Edith Zapke, age 92, died Thursday, August3, 2017 in Roscoe, Illinois. Edith was born March 15th in New York. She was married to Edward Zapke for 50 years. Edith worked for F.W. Woolworth Co. downtown, New York. She was a director of personnel for the New York City area. She loved to play the organ and garden. She was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, where she was an Elder. She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Zapke, granddaughter Kristin Manley Smyrna, 3 brothers Warren, Norman, Arther Bellion, 2 step sisters, Mabel Nutley and Doris Black. Survivors include her son Clifford Zapke(Sue), daughter Mary Jane Manley(Robert Jr.), grandchildren Heather Deming( Eric), Allison Zapke, Robert Manley III (Shaunia), Ryan Manley ( Kerri); great-grandchildren Emma, Alexis, Natalie, Wyatt, Owen Deming. Funeral service will be at 12PM Friday, August 11th with an hour visitation prior to the service at Turner Funeral Home, 14360 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida. Burial will follow to Florida Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Spring Hill.
